✔️ Add Printers

Bambu Lab printers: From the AutoFarm3D dashboard, select Add Printer and follow prompts to connect each printer to the network. Set printers to LAN mode.

Non-Bambu printers: Use a USB cable to connect printers to the Print Farm Hub. Ensure AutoFarm3D recognizes each connected printer. This can be confirmed via Settings > Printers and Cameras.

✔️ Send a Test Print (Manual)

Load a small, simple test file in AutoFarm3D and initiate a test print to confirm that all printers and connections work as expected. Run the test in Manual Mode to monitor the initial setup.

For Bambu Lab printers please ensure your file is exported as a Plate Sliced file.

Printer Automation - Auto Part Ejection

✔️ Install VAAPR

Place the VAAPR print surface on the printer bed. DO NOT TOUCH THE PRINT SURFACE DIRECTLY, and avoid using scrapers, solvents, or chemicals on it. Only clean with unscented dish soap and water.

✔️ Update Slicer Settings for VAAPR

Please follow the appropriate guide to ensure files are sliced properly for VAAPR.

✔️ Install Part Ejection Kit

An active AutoFarm3D subscription is requierd to purchase an auto ejection kit. Please contact us if you would like to purchase one.

✔️ Set Printer to AUTO Mode

Open the AutoFarm3D dashboard, select your printer, and set it to AUTO mode. This enables automated part ejection and continuous job queuing without manual intervention.

✔️ Send a Test Print (Automated)

Load another small test file, this time with AUTO mode enabled. This will test the part ejection system. Observe the print process to confirm the VAAPR bed and ejection kit are functioning properly.
